It can be because either there is something wrong with the website where you are putting up ads or you are not properly following the rules. Even if it is in pennies, you should not get discouraged as pennies add up into large amount when it is Adsense. Every Adsense user needs to realize that there are multiple factors that can determine the CPC. Different keywords can lead to varied earnings, thus your niche alone can affect the amount you are making. The size and location of the ad can also greatly affect your CPC, so you need to look into them as well.

How to determine what each click pays? 

Honestly, one can not determine what each click exactly pays. Google keeps all of your information under strict privacy and is never going to share it. If you get only a single click for a day, only than you can determine how much you are being paid but in case of multiple clicks than you truly can not know how much each click made for you. You can average them and can get a rough idea for each click but you can not exactly determine the pay for each click. To be honest the information of what each click pays can never tell you a lot because you still can not determine what page the ad was placed on or what type was it. Information is good to accumulate but it is not much useful when you look at the larger picture.

What Information can I know?

Even though you can not determine exactly how much each click pays or makes but you can estimate how much you can make each day and you can also see how much each ad unit lets you earn for a specified number of days.

I have shared some posts on what you should do to get Adsense in Pakistan and what will be the future of Adsense in Pakistan. Today, I am bringing some tips on how can you increase your Google Adsense revenuews?

After some good research on use of analytics for Adsense, I have come up with some ways to maximize my Adsense earnings each month. There are different manners to do so and are as follow: 

First you need to set up your Adsense in Analytics and this can be done by clicking on the link to integrate Adsense with your analytics account when viewing your report overview. You need to be the admin of your account in order to make changes. After setting up, it is advised to check what all terms means, for better understanding.

Tip 1 – Appeal to Your Top Referrers:

By using analytics, you can check which of your referrers are best for Adsense revenue. I have been featured on the homepage of a photography forum with around 7000 active members. Let me explain with an example: when you go to GA and click n Adsense Referrers, it brings up a list of all the websites that sent visitors have clicked on, plus timeline of your earnings. The most crucial part of results is Click through Rate (CTR) and Effective Cost per 1000 impressions. I had higher CTR than some other referrers due to the quality of visitor I received. ECPM was also higher which means that I can increase number of impression and can earn a lot.

Tip 2 – Appropriate Content that Relates to Your Site:

many bloggers admitted that there comes a sudden increase in their earnings due to my appropriate content.posted in relevant pages which led to success. Thus, I also conclude that related content leads to more clicks.

Tip 3 – Text and Image ads:

Ads with both text and images enable you to generate greater revenue for you. On average publishers experience 59% increase in ECPM earnings with the use of this tip.

Tip 4 – Increase Ad Size:

Wider ad units are preferred by advisers for higher bidding for ad placements. Typically they see 0.35 ECPMs when using the wider ad size.

Tip 5 – Ad Location:

Placement of the ad has also important role to play to get earnings. It is advised to make your ad prominent and obvious to be noticed. It is difficult for you to judge your own website as that of others or visitors and you need to look from their vision. Thus, you can experiment with ad placement to start seeing results. I tried different locations for my ad, and the small text ad below our header made a massive difference to my results as it was the most prominent one. It is not very catchy ad but is at a good location which draws much clicks. However, I do not suggest to add too many ads as it is not appealing to the visitors. Also, it makes the website look bad. Placing your ad in header can also be one of the biggest mistakes as it makes the website look less attractive.

According to my experience you should apply only after when you have more than 70 posts. These all should be of 500+ words. However there is no exact answer as it has been seen that very established blogs with 400+ posts get rejected while people with 40,50 posts are accepted. Thus, we can only predict and can't say anything certain.

Design:

After content, your blog is the most important and biggest thing. It reflects your experience and skills. Thus, you need to be careful.

Content Type:

Before publishing your content, make sure it is clear. Google Adsense never approves illegal items, pornographic material, drugs or other such blogs. Also, your blog should be in English language.

Never complain about making money or state explicitly that your blogging is just for money. By showing some other interests too you show them that you provide values to your readers.

Top Level Domain:

Top Ten “DO NOTS” of Adsense

Google banned hundreds of Pakistani Adsense accounts just recently and on inquiry gave such confusing answers to the banned publishers that were not understandable for a common man. This incident is a clear hint of Google Adsense’s dark and ending future in Pakistan. Google, like all other businesses, seems unfair at times but it is fair on their part to save themselves and their business. Let it be explained with examples:

I know a Pakistani website which displays Adsense ads and needs to be banned immediately as it is against all legal policies though, it is not banned yet due to the fact that the website has more than 100 million impressions each month.  On the other hand, another website recently got banned just because it was showing ads below the navigation bar.  However, It is confusing and seems manipulative as Google it suggests to display ads below the navigator bar for high CTR.

Click Fraud:

Click fraud is another one of the biggest reasons for banning publishers for life. The question arises, isn't it possible for Google, the biggest spender on research ad development, to restrict the second click whenever it is done by the same IP? We might not be happy with the present scenario but sometimes it is in general good.

We need a local CPM network. Many local ad networks banged in recently but were unable to sustain. The reasons may be many but to understand the sustainability of the local digital industry, we must get a high level CPM network functioning in next 6 to 12 months.
